Data from your depression journey can help others navigate theirs.
Eiro Engage is an iPhone app where you can get paid to log your symptoms and side effects related to your depression treatments.
How it works
Step 1: Download Eiro Engage
Download Eiro Engage from the App Store on your iPhone to get started.
Step 2: Sign up and connect your health record
Create your account and link your electronic health record through our secure integration. This step lets us verify eligibility and provides clinical context for the data you report.
Step 3: Document your experience
Over the next three months, you'll periodically report on your treatment, symptoms, and how you're doing. We ask about what's working, what isn't, and how you feel. This step takes a few minutes each time.
Step 4: Get paid
You can earn upwards of $200 for full engagement over the reporting period. Compensation is paid directly to you through your choice of bank deposits or gift cards. We appreciate the time and effort you put toward our shared goal of better depression care for everyone.
Why this matters
Your treatment experiences can help researchers understand what works for people with depression. Through Engage, you contribute to Eiro’s work on clinical decision-support tools grounded in real life.
Your data, your control
You choose what to share, can review your data, and can stop participating at any time. We never sell your health data.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to authorized Eiro personnel supporting the platform and research. Before AI training, we remove direct identifiers such as your name and date of birth.
Who can participate
Adults 18 and older living in the United States with an active depression diagnosis in their health record and currently receiving treatment can participate. Engage is not available in Washington, Nevada, or Maryland.
To qualify for payment, you’ll connect your health record so we can verify eligibility.
Not medical advice
Eiro Engage is a data collection platform. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always consult your healthcare provider about your treatment.
